A new year brings positive thoughts into all of our lives.

Buying a house is the largest single purchase made by the average person and it requires a lot of patience and focus. The first steps will include you working with a realtor (we are two!!) and a mortgage person who will delve into your personal finances to meet requirements set forth by their company and the federal government. Do you know what your credit scores are? These numbers determine whether you will qualify for a mortgage loan, a car loan, car insurance and a number of other things. These numbers are critical because if they are low- it will cost you money every month!! To move those numbers up, learn that I need is much less frequent than I want! We will all want all our lives- but the needs will keep our bills lower and make it easier to maintain our payment history as it is supposed to be and therefore, allow us to have higher credit scores.
