I hope your projects are moving right along and if you have followed our instructions and completed most of those home improvements, I will offer an award because if you are new to the lowcountry- you really have to move to keep up with Spring!!
The Flowertown Festival is April 1-3-the largest craft show in the Southeast in downtown Summerville. Don't worry you can't miss it- you can't drive through town either!!
The Cooper River Bridge Run is April 2 from Mt. Pleasant to downtown Charleston via one of our beautiful bridges. The run capped at 40,000!! 2 weeks ago!! Still fun to watch from the sidelines and get ready for next year's run!!
The Charleston Bed Race (Camp Happy Days) is April 10 in downtown Charleston-can you imagine being part of a 5 person team racing a homemade bed for 2 blocks- all in fun-to benefit kids with Cancer!!
Then there is the Grits Festival, the Rice Festival, the Blessing of the Fleet ( Mt. Pleasant and McClellanville) and the list goes on.....
And while you are looking- the Charleston County Parks and Recreation is scheduling their moonlight mixers for the Folly Pier as well as Shaggin on the Cooper at the Mt. Pleasant Pier.
PHHEEWW!! If you can keep up with all that- you will need summer to slow you down!! Have fun......
